Colonel
Anthony J. DiBaggio, USAF, Retired,
passed away on March 5, 2018 at the age
of 88. Colonel DiBaggio was a graduate
of Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. He
entered the United States Air Force at
the onset of the Korean conflict and
served for some 30 years in various
Staff and Command positions worldwide.
During his Air Force career, he and his
family spent many years at overseas
installations. Colonel DiBaggio and
first wife Beverly L. DiBaggio chose San
Antonio, Texas as their final retirement
home. |

Colonel
DiBaggio retired from the service in
1979 and worked as a banking executive
and teacher. He is survived by his wife
Sherry A. Johnson, step-daughters Shelly
Johnson and Wendy O'Brien of San
Antonio, TX, sons David A. DiBaggio and
Brad M. DiBaggio of San Clemente, CA,
son Richard J. DiBaggio of San Antonio,
TX, daughters-in-law Yvonne DiBaggio,
Sharon Song DiBaggio and Barbara Cerna,
grandchildren Bethany, Gregory and
Zachary, step-grandchildren Brenden,
Jessica and Justin, brother Al DiBaggio
and sister-in-law Joan DiBaggio. |

Graveside
services with full Military Honors were held at Fort Sam Houston National
Cemetery on Tuesday, March
27, 2018. |
