Tom
"Tommy" Kaufman, lifelong resident of
San Antonio, Texas passed away on
Sunday, August 21, 2022, at age 90.

Tom was
born to parents, Karleen Wilma Hammer
and Leon Brown Kaufman on February 6,
1932. |
 |
Tom was a
constant source of love and inspiration
to his son, a devoted companion to his
family, friends, golf, tennis and bridge
partners, always had a joke, story or
trivia to share, but was serious when it
came to supporting the Longhorns. |
 |
He was
preceded in death by, his parents;
loving wife, Elaine "Lanie" Kaufman;
brother, Jack Hammer Kaufman; and
sister-in-law, Estelle "Prissy" Kaufman.
Tom is survived by his son, Warren
Kaufman (Brian Allen); stepchildren,
David, Steven (Patricia), Tommy (Alane),
and Gregg (Shannon) Honigblum;
grandchildren, Grace, Eva, Amanda, Jack,
Leo, Sam, Zach, and Zoe; as well as
nieces and nephews, Bill Kaufman,
Karleen and Gary Kusin, Ann & David
Engel; and special friends Madeline Utay,
Deborah Carney, Leslie Harrison, and
Alicia Luevanos. |

A memorial
service was held on Wednesday, August
24, 2022 at Temple Beth-El, 211 Belknap
Place. In lieu of flowers, please
consider a donation to The Jack and
Estelle Kaufman Community Outreach Fund
at Temple Beth-El. |
