Paul
Clayton McGaffic passed peacefully from
this life on Sunday May 27, 2018 at
Kirkwood Manor Care Center in New
Braunfels, Texas. Paul was born in New
Castle, Pennsylvania on June 14, 1928.
He was preceded in death by one
daughter, Amy Knight, and one brother,
Jack McGaffic. |

He was the
loving patriarch of a blended family. He
is survived by his wife, Catherine Joan
McGaffic; one sister, Mabel Slovonski of
Tampa, Florida; two brothers; David
McGaffic (Zetta) of Miami, Oklahoma, and
Vern McGaffic (Mary) of Jefferson City
Missouri; five sons, Greg McGaffic and
Jim McGaffic (Lori) of Cedar Rapids,
Iowa; John McGaffic (Mary Jane) of Royce
City Texas, Timothy Schultz (Cheri) of
Atkins, Iowa; Thomas Schultz (Angela) of
Christoval, Texas, and two daughters;
Jennifer Schultz and Julie Schultz Golla
of New Braunfels, Texas. He is also
survived by 19 Grandchildren and 38
Great-Grandchildren. |

Paul was a
retired sales engineer from Raytheon and
a longtime resident of New Braunfels,
Texas. He was an active member of the
Unitarian Universalist Church of New
Braunfels. He, along with his wife, ran
the Hill Country Bridge Club for the
past ten years. |

A
celebration of life memorial was held on June 16, 2018
at the Unitarian Universalist Church,
135 Alves Lane, New Braunfels. The family
invites donations in Paul's memory to the American Heart
Association or the Unitarian Church. |

The family
would like thank the staff and
management of Kirkwood Manor and Hope
Hospice for the excellent care and
compassion Paul and family received
during the last few months. |
