"Margie" Levinson Gernsbacher passed
away on December 3. |
|
Marjorie
was born in Dallas, Texas on August 19,
1926. She was the middle daughter born
to Eva and Alex Levinson, both deceased. |
|
Margie and
her two sisters were best friends
throughout their lives. Both sisters
preceded her in death. Margie married
Robert "Bob" Gernsbacher in 1948. Prior
to their marriage, Margie attended
Jefferson High School in San Antonio and
the University of Texas in Austin where
she received her business degree in
1946. She later received a bachelor's

Margie was
a very private, reserved woman. She had
many passions throughout her life,
including her artwork, her studies, and
being a competitive game player. She was
very quiet about her artistic talent,
but all her children and grandchildren
were very proud of her work and display
it in their homes. Margie loved to
dance, especially during Happy Hour at
Adante Independent Living, where she
resided for 6 years. She also loved to
play bridge and bingo. |
|
Margie was
very proud of her children and their
children's accomplishments. Margie was
preceded in death by her husband Robert
Gernsbacher and her son Randal
Gernsbacher. |
