Kent George Heintz, age 71, of 2595 W. Ammann Road, Bulverde, Texas, formerly of Quincy, Illinois died Friday, June 27, 2008 at 8:39 p.m. in his daughter's home.

He was born April 8, 1937 in Quincy, Illinois the son of Fergus Nicholas (Fergie) and Ida Bonita (Bobo) Urban Heintz. He attended Quincy High School and Kansas State University where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He was an award-winning salesman and an exceptional handy man. He was a bridge master, and a ping pong champion. His many friends and loved ones will miss his special character, endless humor, and ability to bring happiness to all. Survivors include three children, Nick Heintz and his wife Jodi of Fond du Lac, WI, Nancy Wangerin and her husband Jamie of The Woodlands, TX, and Maria Jane Donnelly and her husband Kevin of Wauwatosa, WI; and five grandchildren, Taylor, Rielly, and Parker Heintz of Fond du Lac, WI, and Abby and Sydney Wangerin of The Woodlands, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Bruce Heintz, and a sister Connie Morton.
