Edith
"Edie" G. Keogh, 92, passed September
21, 2018. She was born Helen Edith
Gelder on October 23, 1925 in Killdeer
North Dakota. Edith grew up and
graduated college from North Dakota
State University with a degree in
English. She married her college
sweetheart, together they raised 4
children while traveling throughout the
U.S. and during two tours in Okinawa as a
United States Air Force family. Due to
their transfers the couple started a
family tradition of stopping at a MN
lake resort where as many as 75
relatives would vacation with the Keoghs
every other year. This tradition
continues to the present. Edith was a
grand master of bridge and played an
excellent game of golf. |

Edith was preceded in death
by her parents, Stanley and
Agnes; 2 sisters, Alicia and
Patricia, her oldest
grandson, Daniel as well as
her husband of 67 years,
Curtis. Edith is survived by
son Timothy Keogh and
grandson Sean; Gregory
(Glyn) Keogh and
grandchildren Cherie (Tim)
Dodge, Josh and Zachary;
Richard (Maryanne) Keogh,
granddaughters Cassie and
Jenny (Derek) and great
granddaughter, Zoey; Nancy
(Bob) Holcomb, granddaughter
Jessica (Ben) Reynolds,
great grandsons Eliot and
Geo; sister, Margery
Peterson, as well as
numerous other family and
friends. |

A Memorial Service was held
on October 15, 2018 at
Colonial Funeral Home
followed by Interment at
Fort Sam Houston National
Cemetery. In lieu of flowers
please make memorial
contributions to the Wounded
Warrior Project or a charity
of your choice. |

person, will be missed
deeply by all. |
