Betty
Jane McQuaid, born Betty Jane Hagans, July 20, 1923, entered into
the full presence of her Lord, Jesus Christ, on December 12, 2008.
He joyfully received her into his glorious presence where she was
reunited with her husband, Frank H. McQuaid, and many family and
friends already there who welcomed her home. She now lives in the
fullness of joy and awaits the great reunion with her family and
friends. Until then, she will be missed by her three children, six
grandchildren, extended family, and friends who remain behind. Betty
loved her Lord supremely and she sincerely loved her family and
friends as seen in her willingness to give in their time of need. |

A
memorial service was held at the Little Church of La Villita,
508 Villita St., on Sunday, January 11, 2009 at 2:30pm, follow by an
informal celebration of her life at the Bolivar Café. She was buried with her husband at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery. Betty
requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to the
following charitable organizations: Little Church of La Villita 418
Villita St. Bldg. 13, San Antonio, Texas 78205; Grace Medical
Missions 5957 W. Aurora Dr., Glendale, Arizona 85308; Vitas Hospice
