This is an Automated Partnership e-Desk. Released for use May 22, 2008 version 1.5 It is a work in progress but fully functional. The PMB can be used now for real Partner Needs, or you can just give it a test drive. If your posting is real - use real data. If the posting is not real, please delete it (them) when your test drive is over. What the PMB will become is largely dependent on the value of service it can provide for you. If you like it - use it. To improve it, let me know what you want it to do. To cause it to be successful, use it to provide valuable service in your bridge life viewing it daily and posting on it regularly. If you haven't used it yet, try it now. Enter data in the form, Post it by clicking on the Update button. When the posting is shown on the Desk, Click the Edit action link on the right side of your posting. That will put most of your data back into the form where it can be Edited and updated. When done, click Delete, then confirm and the posting will go away. This program runs on the website and is completely unattended. There will be visible format changes regularly and you might notice some functionality changes, like a need to register, to log in, and different fields in the PMB. Don't be afraid to try stuff, you can't destroy it. It already has some neat features. For example, GameDate can accept multiple date formats, even "next week" which adds 7 days to todays date, "3 days" which adds 3 days ahead, "next month", "next year". I don't think it will accept "next century" or "next millenium" however. (little joke there) On the Message Board, "email Reply Y/N" is a little fuzzy - meaning I'm not sure what to use it for. If you don't check your mail daily - you won't want a partner wanting to play with you to be ignored. Check N. If you are e-mail responsive, Check Y The response feature is not yet functional. For now - Use the phone. This dynamic PMB came to life when my son Tom, who some of you met a year ago, made sense of the idea and wrote the software enabling it to run on the website. See Link below. Hope you like it, and use it often. Jack
