July 18, 2007 Dear Club/Game Director, It is time to nominate candidates to run for the Fort Western Unit 183 Board. Three new board members are to be elected. They shall be elected to a term of three calendar years. Once the slate of nominees is announced, voting will take place through Election Day, Sunday, October 21, 2007. On that same day, the ballots will be tallied and the new board members will be announced at the Fort Worth Fall Sectional Tournament. Please submit in writing nominees who are unit members in good standing and who have consented to run. Please submit all nominations as soon as possible and no later than Tuesday, September 4, 2007. The ballot shall be finalized on that date. Once the slate of nominees is finalized, a letter with biographical information on each candidate and an absentee ballot will be sent to each unit member in good standing. Every unit member in good standing shall be entitled to vote either in person on the election date or by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots must be postmarked at least seven (7) days before the election or handed to a member of the Elections Committee at least three (3) days before the date of the election.
