Unit 174 is sponsoring workshops to attract social bridge players to duplicate, targeted at those who play socially but who rarely or never play duplicate. These workshops will be held approximately quarterly in various areas around the Unit; the first one is scheduled for October (see other side). We are planning for two hundred attendees at each workshop.
A crucial step in making these workshops a success is making sure that the target audience knows about them well in advance. To assist in that effort, we need to build up a database of social bridge groups so we can visit those groups, make them aware of, and invite them to these workshops.
Do your friends a favor: introduce them to duplicate! Tell us what you know about social bridge in the Unit 174 area—who, where and when. Many of you know people who play in church groups, at community centers, in each others’ homes, and other places.
