Scorecard Has Gone Digital
Beginning with the January 2022 edition of the Scorecard, the newsletter will be fully digital. You will no longer receive print copies.
Because the size will be standard letter size, printing a copy easily works on a laser or injet printer. If a Unit or Club wants commercially-printed copies, the cost for this will be the responsibility of the Unit or Club, with a previously-determined amount subsidized by the District.

Changes to the Scorecard
Scorecard Size: This will be letter size: 8.5"x11" and set up in single-page spreads.
Scorecard Color: The newsletter will be Full Color. Pictures and announcements should be submitted in color.
Pictures of Tournament Winners: Scorecard will continue to include the pictures, but will not list all the winning scores as it has in the past. Each tournament area will have an active link to the appropriate ACBL location to get those stats if you need them.
Scorecard Links: All will be active links. That means if you find a reference to a web page or an email address, clicking on that text will either take you to another page, another web site, or open a blank email for you to send.
Scorecard Audio and Video: We would like to include audio and video, but this is in the decision phase and had not been finalized yet.
Table of Contents: A Table of Contents will be at the beginning of each Scorecard. This will allow you to go to different pages by simply clicking on the link.
Viewing Scorecard
To view Scorecard, Adobe Acrobat Reader must be installed on your computer. If you do not already have this free software, go to Adobe Acrobat Reader and follow the instructions for downloading and installing.
Viewing in Acrobat: In Acrobat Reader, in the View Menu, go to Page Display and set it to 2 Page Scrolling, with Gap between Pages and 2 Page Cover View checked. Now, under Zoom, select Fit Height. Use the left and right arrow on your keyboard to move back and forth in the newsletter. Since you are viewing 2 pages at once, you will need to click the arrow twice to move to the next spread.
